Katherine M. Stevenson, CPA PLLC is a small town CPA located in the heart of downtown Independence, KY. We are a mother & daughter team with a combined 36 years of experience.
Katherine M. Stevenson, CPA PLLC is a member of the Independence Business Association (IBA), the Covington Business Council (CBC), and Roebling Society Class of 2021 through the Metropolitan Club.

Katherine Stevenson
Katherine (Hahnel) Stevenson is a lifetime Northern Kentuckian. Growing up, Katherine lived in Independence and is a proud graduate of Simon Kenton HS. Katherine received her Bachelors in Accountancy from NKU in 2017 along with Business Administration minor. From the age of 16 and throughout college, Katherine worked for Robert J. Bentti CPA, LLC. After college Katherine worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for two and a half years and Clark Schaefer Hackett (CSH) for one year.
Outside of being a CPA, Katherine is a member of the Roebling Society Class of 2021, Charites Guild of Northern KY and Renaissance Covington Farmers Market Committee.
Fun fact: Katherine also received a Bachelors in Vocal Performance from NKU. She is a classically trained singer and has traveled to sing and has performed in several operas as well as sang with a vocal jazz group.

Amy Hahnel
Amy is an accountant with over 25 years of experience and the current office manager. Prior to working for Katherine, Amy worked as an accountant and office manager of Robert J. Bentti CPA, LLC.
